Shiprods Farm
This contract comprised a 120 m2 extension, double roofed conservatory and substantial alterations to a 13th Century Farmhouse in Henfield for a private client.

The property was grade 2 listed and special detailing and attention was given to the fabric and finishes to achieve a sympathetic impression.

A mixture of new and reclaimed materials were used with Mumford and Wood windows and external doors,

Finishes included Indian stone and oak floor finishes and specialist paint finishes to walls and windows internally.

This contract, in Henfield, included a timber framed first floor extension to a private residence.

It also included substantial alterations internally with structural works required to the existing landing and stairwell to provide

A new pressurised heating system was installed and 2 300-litre megaflow heating vessels were used,

5 bathrooms were refurbished to high standards and the house was totally redecorated.

We won this contract in open tender to convert and existing Rest Home (which was originally built at the turn of the 20th century as two semi detached houses) into 10 self contained flats.

During the progress of the contract planning permission was granted for the conversion of the roof into a further two apartments and we negotiated with the client to carry out this work.

The contract was completed to programme in august 2005.

The job included Spanish slate roof coverings, softwood joinery and rendered elevations.

Tott Farm, Hurstpierpoint
A conversion of an existing flint and brick granary into a two bedroomed, part two-storey accommodation for a private client.

This was built to a very high standard with some the features including bespoke oak joinery and a brick fireplace with wood burning stove.

86 Old Fort Road, Shoreham Beach
Situated right on Shoreham beach, this property was tastefully extended and modernised in 2004.

A new bedroom was added featuring an open roof with Glulam beam and roof lights. The existing roof was recovered with concrete pantiles and the existing sun lounge was demolished and rebuilt. Existing brick elevations were rendered using fibre reinforced cement and sand mortar.

New upvc windows were installed throughout and extensive cedar balconies were constructed to the southern elevations.

A utility room was formed within the existing double garage complete with electric under floor heating.
